In Design and Technology at our school, children learn to think creatively and work practically as they design, make and evaluate purposeful products. Following the National Curriculum, pupils develop key skills in problem-solving, planning and using a range of materials, tools and techniques safely and effectively.

Through hands-on projects, children are encouraged to explore ideas, take risks and learn from their mistakes. They learn how to design with a purpose, consider the needs of users, and evaluate how their creations could be improved. 

Design Technology helps children develop resilience, innovation and confidence, while understanding how design and technology shapes the world around them.
