In Art at our school, children are encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves through a wide range of materials, techniques and ideas. Following the National Curriculum, pupils develop their skills in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art forms while learning about the work of a variety of artists from different times and cultures. 

Children are given opportunities to experiment, take risks and develop their own artistic style. They learn to observe carefully, use sketchbooks to record their ideas, and reflect on how their work can be developed and improved. 

Art helps children to build confidence, imagination and an appreciation of creativity while developing the skills to communicate their ideas visually and thoughtfully.
