Year 6 is arguably the most challenging yet most rewarding year in primary school. As well as preparing for the SATs, year 6 is about preparing pupils for that next step. We focus on transition and giving them the skills they need so they are ready for secondary school. Pupils leave our class being confident, independent learners who will strive to reach their potential.
We also have a lot of fun along the way; with exciting residential trips, fascinating topics and challenging boosting. Year 6 is the year they will earn their leavers' hoodie and perform in the leavers' play too.
The class teacher is Mr Druce, alongside Miss Prescott, Mrs Martin (Teaching Assistants) and Mrs Goodes (HLTA).
