Reception - Otters and Badgers

Welcome to Reception!

In Reception, Miss Roberts and Miss Brown provide a nurturing and caring environment in order to promote independent and confident learners with the help of Miss Kirsty and Miss Jones. In Badger Class and Otter Class we ensure that there is a good balance of child initiated, adult focus, and adult led activities in our teaching and learning; so as to challenge and promote inquisitiveness in each and every unique child. We always take into account the interests and ideas of the children to plan stimulating and child led topics. We ensure that the learning of our children is practical, provides 'hands on' and 'first hand' experiences as much as possible. We enjoy a 'free flow' environment so that children can enjoy indoor and outdoor learning.
